Weapon Swap build ....... possible or not?

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a minion build using the dancing dervish sword with 6 appropriate support gems in it, supporting the swords and once the swords are summoned, weapon swap to a second staff that has been crafted with an essence of insanity, giving it "summon lvl 20 spectral spirits " and that staff would have 6 sockets, appropriately supporting the 3 spirits.

You aren't using either weapon or doing anything with them, other then letting them summon their respective minions, but I was wondering if it is known that all the minions would be up, active, and receiving their support's bonuses?
