Absolution - Question regarding damage conversion and added damage

Hi there,

I`m running a Necro Absolution build and while it`s smooth playing I can`t figure out what type and percentage of damage my minions are actually doing.

I´m using a Triad Grip with 4 red sockets, converting 100 % physical minion damage to fire damage and a physical to lightning which together with the Absolution gem converts 100 % physical to lightning.

Is it right that this leads to 50% fire and 50% lightning damage?


Furthermore I`m using added fire damage and Hatred. The added damage from this and from the physiscal to lightning gem is based on the original physical damage of the Absolution gem before or after it`s own 50 % conversion to lightning?

Can anyone answer this?
