Cheap nuke caster build?

Every time I come back to this game I try to find a cool melee build mostly involving Cyclone. First was a CoC Lightning Inq. I got to maps and was getting one shot everywhere. I quit the game frustrated.

I come back this time because I saw a cool Infernal Cyclone Scion build on youtube and said fk it. I get to maps and the literal same thing happens. I keep getting one shot and I have max res and high almost 5k evasion, 3k health.

I just dont understand why the hell in THIS game when you make it to end game you actually are a lot weaker. At least it felt that way for me.

So now I figure if I keep playing this game I need to go with an easy caster nuke build. Is there anything out there for me? I did try Enki Arc Witch years ago but the arc spell just didnt seem to hit real hard.

I'm kinda frustrated because this game is pitched as something with all this personal choice and variety in builds. So far I get to maps with my melee characters and it feels impossible to progress.

3k health is garbage level. Also in the current meta if you're not running determination or grace, defiance banner and spell suppression or spell block, you're pure paper. 5k evasion is nothing. Just running grace and jade flask probably gives more.

Also there's no "easy caster nuke", self cast is one of the worst playstyles when compared investment to results. You want an easy starter build, play minions or traps.

This game offers a lot of choice, 90% of which are noob traps. Don't follow random youtube guides, follow builds of people who are actually experienced at the game. Zizaran has some newbie friendly guides, maybe pick one of those.
