Detonate Mines (super annoying sound) isn't needed at all

The sound effect for Detonate Mines does not need to be in the game at all. Not only is it SUPER annoying when it plays every .25 seconds, but the icon is literally a guy pressing a button with his thumb. Why does that action require a metal alarm-style bell sound? It doesn't make sense and it adds no value to the game.
