PS5: cannot use corruption altar (act 2)

Hi, my character is in act 2 (Vaal Ruins). I can open the corruption altar, but the interface offers nothing else but closing it. It is not possible to activate the corruption.

Same here in Act 3 Jiquani‘s Sanctum. Also on PS5

Same here. It looks like i can select equipped items and identified items in my inventory and use X to corrupt them, but not gems in my inventory.
