MKB on Console

Hey,

I just came here to bring a discussion about the Mouse and Keyboard on consoles!

Ghazzy and Darth asked if we will be able to use Mouse and Keyboard on consoles.

It would really make it the Greatest ARPG of all time.

So this game support M/KB ?

Sony is very much against MKB support. One of their studios, Media Molecule, begged them to support MKB for their game Dreams, but they would not budge. In my opinion, this feature is never coming to POE2.

Support for KBM on Xbox

I'm not sure it has anything to do with Sony/Microsoft. The consoles themselves support mouse and keyboard. It's just down to each developer as to whether they want to implement it into their game. For PoE2 it's a niche thing that console will want to use m&k so low on the priority list.

The associate dev that tweeted it years ago when asked by a fan nuked his Twitter account when Elon bought it. This article has a scant reference to what I mean. https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2020/02/dreams_on_ps5_the_obvious_next_step_says_media_molecules_mark_healey

But doing more looking into this it seems that Sony does not currently have an issue because there are a bunch of PS5's that support MNK. Notably the latest Call of Duty games.
