Skills corrupted no longer usable, index out of bounds [818,817,070]

Bug id: 818,817,070

I purchased the Storm Wave skill and added it to my bars. Shortly after, my skill gem suddenly became unbound from the skill bar and I couldn't get it to re-add, so I swapped it with another skill in the skill UI (Frozen Locus). When I did this, Frozen Locus then disappeared from my skill bar.

I un-socketed all my skills and socketed just Frozen Locus back and it is now permanently corrupted. It looks like it's suffering from an indexing / pointer error. Also Storm Wave is in the same state, it is corrupted and I cannot use this skill upgrade I just picked up.

But the gist is: Skills get into a corrupted state. When they are like this, I cannot assign this skill to my bar, the skill refuses to show me the extended skill details, and the skill will show me the extended details for the last skill that I checked extended details on.

This is blocking character progress and is a full show stopping bug.

Also if I log out and log back in, and look at details on a bugged skill before any other skill I get this. I think maybe something it botched with the values for the weapon swap application.. causing the overflow/bad index. But you can see, Storm Wave here is corrupt and not usable.

I had the same problem here. Found any solution?

I ended up rolling a new character on a different class and putting the skill gems on that character. They fixed themselves on the new character (Warrior) but my old character is completely bricked (Monk) and still unplayable. I gave up and won't play Monk anymore until it's sorted.

Hey finally someone else who is bricked!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the family! Yeah its quite shitty because all of my stuff broke at lvl 59 with 30 hours of gameplay. I really hope they can fix it.

I found a fix me for me,, I changed some equipment around and did not have the stats needed for a support gem on that skill. Just remove the grayed out skill gem and add the supports until you figure. Hope this helps!

This wasn't that problem, at all (an attribute requirements issue). This has nothing to do with supports as illustrated in the video and screenshots.
