Orb of alteration and Orb of scouring would really be a game changer!

I think for a game that is supposed to be focusing on crafting as per their video, i think adding the orb of alteration and orb of scouring would really help the crafting side of the game.

that's sadly exactly what i miss.
Alt spam to at least try having 1 suff/pref that is meaningful.

Or another solution would be Magic can have 3 mods, 2 pre/1s or 2S/1p
Because right now, i don't even bother identifying item on the floor, because there is not enough regal/exalt

And this is the thing. In poe 1, expensive currencies are only to roll better stats number.
But they weren't about upgrading the quality of an item.
Orb of Alchemy are so damn cheap in poe 1.
You can just try to upgrade any item you find. In poe 2 you can't
