Shield skills not scaling to shield defences

Shield defense nodes on tree don't increase damage of shield skills. They should. If i am wrong about this then it doesn't show damage change when hovering.

I have also noticed this.

The additional defence does apply to the overall defence stat, however it does not apply directly to the equipped shield stat and therefore not increasing the damage of shield skills.

This feels bad as you level as all you are getting is a very miniscule amount of defence and no damage upgrade making one hander and shields very weak.

Also noticed this, but it's not just the shield defence notables, it's anything relating to shield because it's also happening to jewels.

I used the "Shield Defences" node that gives an increase to 25% of defences on shield, and my shield stayed at 69 armour.
My Resonating Shield skill thus also stayed at 185 damage.

I think anything that increases shield defences is just literally broken, which means any shield build is now void.
