dark effigy wont work with the max totem passives

hello i wish for the dark effigy totem to work with the max totem passive i understand that it says "from your atacks" but i feel that is not viable just 1 or 2 if you sacrifice duration with the support gem because is also the lowest duration totem of them all im doing a warrior totem/minion build and this makes it not worth it thanks for reading if you did
