Thorns Calculation Bug

The passive node Sturdy Metal and the Titan Ascendency passive Stone Skin do not seem to be applying to the calculation of Spiked Armour.

SM and SS both increase the armour you get "from your equipped body armour".
SA gives you Thorns based on the armour you get "from your equipped body armour".

I am assuming this is a bug because of how it is worded. If this calculation is not supposed to work the way it is written, I recommend updating the tooltips to be more clear about this.

It would also be good to know a bit more about thorns in general. Does it count as a hit? Is it physical dmg? Do modifiers to global phys affect it? Does it proc leech? Answers to any and all of these would be appreciated.

Based on my testing, it seems that thorns doesn't trigger leech nor does it count as a hit. I'm not sure if this is intended or not.

This is still the case, yet couldn't find any confirmation if this is intended or an oversight?

Thorns is interesting because it doesn't count melee, nor hit, neither spell...
The way you can scale damage is
- global damage
- physical damage
- crit and crit damage
- thorn specific nodes
-- armor brake indirectly
-- increased damage against enemies with broken armor node because that doesn't specify what type of damage (unless tooltip mistake)

Maybe I try out a character with Avatar of Fire build that converts physical damage to fire, where you have options with fire and fire pen nodes.
However there arent too many fire nodes, and most of them specify "hits with fire damage" and thorn is not a hit... So first glance its inferior to the armor brake or crit builds.
