Gain 1 Rage on Hit corruption does not work

I am playing right now a monk and this corruption on my Quarterstaff does not provide any Rage with Tempest Flurry, even if i use my auto attack it does not generate

Same here. I was so happy about the rage on hit and all the possibilities, but I'm frustrated with this bug.
