Infinite Flicker Strike Bug

I noticed sometimes when I am using flicker strike it goes on for a lot longer than expected (I love this) but I'm pretty sure it's bugged.

Also I am only using rare gear and Flicker has Perpetual charge > Momentum > close combat

Just had this bug myself and it has happened other times too.

This time resulted in a frustrating death. The bug is that flicker strike does no damage and just flickers you from enemy to enemy infinitely. You can dodge roll out of this, but I use blink, so sometimes that is on cooldown, and by the time you realize you are doing no damage often you are in the middle of 100 enemies that you should have killed.
