Ignite not scaling properly with FlameBlast
I have done some testing and it appears that the ignite on flameblast is almost not scaling with the "200% more damage per stage".
Character setup: 130% chance to ignite from tree 42% ignite magnitude from tree Flameblast Links: more cast speed ignition for 100% more ignite chance searing flame for 25% less hit damage but 75% more ignite magnitude. Messed around with controlled destruction or other supports. Even with all of this I would hit mobs for 50% or more of their life but would only ignite maybe 1 in 5 hits. And when I would ignite the ignite was so minimal that it could not deal the last 30-40% of the white monsters life. I have tested ignite with hammer of the Gods for example and that can do amazing damage. So my assumption is that it is scaling the ignite off of the base damage of flameblast without the stages. I am experiencing the same thing. I just planned out a whole build using flameblast ignites as the main damage dealer only to have it deal about 1/10 of the damage it should, and completely brick my build.
I have tested it against a boss, and the hit itself deals 20k damage. I have 69% mag increase, 75% more mag from searing flame, 46% inc duration, and 22% faster ailments. That should be dealing 20000*1.69*1.75*1.22*(20%) per second for 4*(1.46) seconds. So 14432 dmg per second for 5.84 seconds, for a total of 84282 dmg. Instead, it dealt around 8k total. So it is definitely bugged. |
