Demonic possession / Minions don’t work together ???

Can’t use minions in Demonic Possession form ? This has to be a bug because nowhere does it say it takes your minions away. This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating, I spent soo much time and energy building my character around this concept just for this ability to be absolutely trash. The ability itself should at least be stronger in base form than the character before hand. Not even the health regen skills work in this mode which makes building around the infernalis/demonic possesion a complete waste of time. Please fix this, please or at least specify more in detail what this skill/ability takes away and or won’t combine with like regeneration passives ect. As a new comer to Poe this made me want to stop playing altogether but I considering it’s still a great game to play with my friends I might just restart with a YouTube build rather than my own. It seems like there is favoritism for certain builds rather than encouraging players to find their own path/builds. In my opinion the only thing that needs to change is buffering characters or at the very least add more detail for skills/ passive skills so players new/old can better understand instead of make the mistake I did and become unmotivated to play.
