It's a solution to the fog of war (simple)

Things I've tried

1. Reinstall -> fixed it. But a few days later, there was fog again

It's hard to download games close to 100gb every time a bug appears


2. Delete ps5 cache, rebuild database -> No effect


3. Run another game and then run poe2 again

I don't know why it's so fixed, but it's fixed . It works perfectly


When you're dead, it works! going to town. coming back. It's working


I played for over 100 hours

Ps5 pro? Have had this same problem since like the 2nd day of release going to try your fix now.
But was wondering why so few people reporting it figured it was a ps5 pro only problem.
Did not work for me which game did you start up? How long did you play it?

If anyone ever gets the fog of war bug in the Atlas map you can use the shortcuts button (triangle) choose a shortcut location and the Atlas should unfog right away.

Normal ps5. no slim no pro

I didn't "actually" play another game

Run another game -> run poe2 again

* I don't think the other kind of game matters
I've only added a brief run of different games to the two solutions

The fog bug happened to me today, I used the shortcuts button (triangle) clicked the the skull icon it moved the map back to the beginning of the Atlas and it unfoghed right away.

However, before going to Atlas, fog bugs also occur in low-level acts 1 to 3.

I'm working on it while I'm developing a 2nd character

Got it to work i had to not just play another game. Have to make sure you do not go in a map you had open already need to log back into a new map.

I can confirm this works. I started up a different game and it fixed it. Not all games fix it tho. I used drova

Can we get a list of which games fix this? Absolutely ridiculous....
