Vaal Orbed Glimpse of Chaos, Tribal Mask

I used a vaal orb on unique helm item Glimpse of Chaos, Tribal Mask but it changed into a different rare helm? Was that an intended designed of how uniques are made to behave when vaal orbed?

Glimpse of Chaos has unique outcomes from having a Vaal orb used on it, so this is likely an intended possible result.

Mine just turned into a worse version of "Ezomyte Peak" than i already had. :(
