Quest item stuck in inventory (POE2 EA)(Sort of Solved?)

Hello GGG

Since my first playthrough with my Monk i have the sacrificial dagger quest item in my inventory even though i used it to sacrifice the heart on the Aggorat map. I hoped that in Act 6 (act 3 for the second time) it will be used up. That was not the case. I was not able to sacrifice the heart without picking up the dagger again and now still am stuck with the dagger in my inventory.

I hope you can remove it from my inventory soon because its taking up precious real estate here...

Somehow i managed to get rid of it. I am unsure how i did it. I tried holding it outside of my inventory and relogging and also using the waypoint to travel somewhere different while holding the item. It is gone which is good but i can't really tell you how i did it, which is also bad.

Hey. Had same issue just seconds ago. Tried re-logging, but didn't help, so tried going through portal with it in hand and it disappeared. Bug still exists, but glad it's not permanent

just travel to where you picked them up and you can drop the item

Yeha I went through a portal with it on my pointer and still had it when I got there but I was able to drop it on the floor
