Energy shield stuck on zero

SOLVED: Confirmed idiot. Anyone else who has this issue, your build is dependent on getting all your shield from gear, DOH!


Hey guys, I'm running a POE2 monk build and after having loads of fun with my own builds, I tried Raxx's final monk build posted yesterday, on maxroll. Never followed a guide before, and whilst the overall power of my monk has significantly boosted, my shield is stuck at zero.

I have removed all gear, and nothing has that Eldritch thing on it that can impact shield. I don't have the second set of weapons in place yet, but nothing in that guide states they are required to have above zero shield.

So, anything else I can check? I've removed all gear, and I cannot (seem) to find a node in the passive tree that sets my shield to zero.

Any help much appreciated, I am really hoping I haven't tanked my character with a bug. I've also spent most of my gold in the respec so I can't dial it all back and start over. I will plod away, but maybe I'm missing something really obvious. Cheers and happy new year :)

EDIT: I might be a massive n00b, I found another thread which suggests it could be my gear not having shields. Will tinker and if confirmed idiot, I will update!

same here? any solve problem?
