Treasure of Utzaal - soft locked due to dying at the boss fight

As the title states.

I killed the boss in the arena and then died right after. The boss dropped a quest item in the arena and the lift to get to the arena is no longer active, and I cannot reach the quest item and I am now locked out of being able to finish the quest.
