Please make ascendancy skills work with weapon sets

Unlike skill gems, ascendancy skills for some reason are missing the weapon set option. Why is that? It not like they are not supposed to work with weapon sets, it just forces the play press the weapon switch key before using their ascendancy skills, which is needlessly painful and actively discourages players from using one of the main aspects introduced in PoE2.

I agree with this.
When it comes to skills you get from ascendancies. I see no reason to not be able to lock them with specific weapons sets...

Now I am just trying to build the muscle memory of weapon swap... Cus I can't just set it up LIKE ALL OTHER SKILL GEMS!
It is simply frustrating for no reason at all.

I totally agree with the comments here. This is even more so an issue now with the introduction of druid and shapeshifting. Many of the nodes on the west side of the tree now only occur when shifting, shifted or recently shifting. Before the patch https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3678922 you would always shift to human to cast command skills, but now unless it is channeled you always stay shifted (odd consistency imo).

I got used to doing some attacks as wolf and then using a command skill to shift back which would activate these nodes.. Now I have to remember to press the weapon swap button before using them, which is very cumbersome.

Please just allow us to assign ascendancy skills to a weapon set like every other skill gem.
