PS5 additional point purchase not updated in game

I've purchased 2 x 200 points on the PSN store (not from in game, but from the PSN store itself)

And I've tried to check if I received the points from the microtransaction shop page in game, but its like forever loading, and the points did not get updated to the purchased amount.

the PSN store locale for me is Singapore

I fixed the problem by using "Restore Licenses" on the game from the console.
