Controller on PC - Stash, Inventory Feedback

I play with Controller on PC so this is my feedback from that standpoint, I do use loot filter as I have access to it on PC. I am a newish player, don't have any 100 char in POE1 but played a lot of Diablo games before. To me it's very important that I can actually spend the time I have playing the game therefor I feel that stash/inventory for me is a huge frustration with controller.


• Because we are frequently picking up items to gamble on them and all the loot explosions having to pick up a lot of items, splitter here splitter there, this is so much pain and needs a massive improvement.

• No auto sort in inventory to at least fill the empty space in between items that are identified/dropped. Pick, pick, pick, full, identify/orb drop --> Auto Sort the rest, also be able to LOCK some items into a position in inventory, having wisdoms for example in top left corner.

• More TABS in inventory, it's crazy in 2025 we are still wasting our time on "inventory" management to a degree that is totally unacceptable, D4 has at least 4 tabs now but POE2 a brand "NEW" game has the same old inventory. Suggestion, give us please another tab for at least these items: An "Endgame tab" Small items only like Waystones, Tablets, all endgame materials like Distilled, Splinters, Essences, Expedition and so on. Some of these items could be auto picked and moved into this tab.

• Moving items out of stash losses the pointers position, SO imagine now moving "gems" out of your stash, moving gem level 1 opps now you lost the position, now be a nice lad and move your controllers into the stash again, scroll down to gem level 1, move it, opps now I lost it again, redo, why are not targeting the item on the left or right or top or bottom instead of totally losing the position, it's so annoying and a horrible experience. Imagine you mouse cursor having its own life and decides to make your life miserable every day.

• In Gem tab, just by going over the items with controller, the targeted position of the controller is jumping to left or right and back to the correct potion, don't know why, it does not happened in other tabs just gems tab.

• In gem tab Search window is blocking out "Sort Items by".

• Gem tab need multiple Sort combination options, let's say all blue coloured support gets + base level or something. This gem UI really needs a revisit.

• Stackable uncut gems, everything that can stack should stack imo, why not, gem tab is a pain to watch and scroll.

• No Stash right side menu on controller view, seriously, PC has one and controller UI is not having one, why? This is the best menu as it can stretch far down, I rather see the tabs removed and keep the right side menu, we must have this on controller as well.

• Be able to rebind all Stash keys for controller, I really don't like for example the RS + down arrow into under folder, it's so frustrating and I wish I could rebind it so something else.

• Not a biggy but ability to jump 1 step and for example 5 steps with controller, in options the steps to jump, maybe some button interactions if possible, like holding down some key to than push left stick to jump 5 steps or something.

• After splitting up orbs I need to drag them over from stash to inventory, can they not move into inventory directly after splitting them somehow?

• In stash options maybe have a info of what more key binding can be used in stash, I had to google how to split orbs. Ohh it's the hold A button.

• LT and RT buttons could be used in combinations with so many other buttons but you wasted it on moving tabs, how often do we move tabs after we have had a setup we actually like? I never want to move than again after having a good setup. We need LT and RT to access all those other combinations like LT + A or whatever. I really don't like pushing down RS or LS, but these are used because you locked out LT and RT.

• Help window of what useful search terms we can use, Kripp mentioned "rare", which is actually something you could search for, I did not know that!

• Moving to the "Search box", sooo LT + LS is used to clear search, but this also moves you tabs around.

• Biggest issue for me right now who loves playing on Controller + PC is ability to move, click items with mouse, this is a very big frustration that I can just hover over items with my mouse but I cannot move. What I do now, I logout of my controller UI than I log into my keyboard and mouse ui to handle the stash than I log out again and back into controller, very, very fun.
