On death effects and the like

As much as I dislike on death effects and don't see how it particularly improves gameplay or is in any way fun, my particular gripe is with how long bullshit on the ground lasts for.

I have ran more and more into 'Ill-fated Explorers' and I'm just met with a snorefest of a map most of the time if the map isn't an open layout. You just sit there and wait what seems like 17 fucking months for this magical wall of death to disappear, run up a room only to come up face first with another pack of these idiots.

Can we have the duration of shit like this lowered to the nice 4~ seconds trail of *name an element here* is? It was a great change as I still can't and shouldn't be able to tank the trail without a build that is specifically made for it or is super endgame but it doesn't impede my progress through the rest of the map.

Also in general on death effects suck and are much harder to see thanks to the many layers of visual obscuration that comes with maps or certain features of maps, only the big boys with their big logs that they like to rub on you have a good on death effect where it's clear the guy is gonna explode and you can actually see through all the various types of fog/mist and isn't a fakeout like those big-big lightning beetles.

Thanks.

Edit: I actually wrote this whole post while waiting for the purple bullshit dust to disappear.

Yup
I've died countless amount of times to on death BS. The fact that a lot of them don't have good sound or visual cue is just annoying. It's so infuriating dying to residual fungus vomit cos it's indiscernible from the shit covered seepage floor.
