Suggestion: Make old supporter packs available for acquisition through EA
|
I was thinking about it and I believe EA is a great opportunity to make old supporter packs available for new and old players to buy them.
I have been playing Path of Exile for a long, long time now. I was younger and without my own fundings when I started playing it, after that even though I had my own money I didn’t had enough to buy the supporter packs very often. I think I am not the only case in this situation, as many people grown from teen to adult age playing the game. Since you guys are bringing old MTXs and the ones from supporter packs included, why not take this opportunity to making them available for acquisition once more? You will have to spend resources on them again, so I believe this is a strong case for a new sale. I thought about you could launch them together with the big patches, again available only for a limited time between these patches. Or maybe through all EA? I don’t know, but I would be happy into buying some of them. Keep up the good work :) Last bumped7 дек. 2025 г., 15:02:42

" If an item is advertised as exclusively available for period x and then is made available at a period outside of x, that item is no longer an item that was exclusively available in period x, and thus sold under false pretenses. There isn't really any argument to be had here; any attempt to sell the items would immediately lead to mass requests for refund. Opinions on validity of the request are utterly irrelevant; they would have to be honoured. |

But are they the same product? Since they are changed now for poe 2, I am not sure.

I think what they could do is allow the ability to upgrade the supporter pack you bought long ago. As long as you purchased a supporter pack during that time period they could allow you to access it now and upgrade it. That would be cool and fair for everyone because you already purchased something during that time period. It would generate a lot of revenue for them because I would upgrade many of my supporter packs and I am sure many other would too.

" I see no issue at all with them bringing them back, but that is a player's POV. I doubt GGG would entertain this idea though. I got the sauce.

Well there is this other company that allowed people to get things that you couldn't get anymore and it just caused a ton of drama.
GGG has enough problems to deal with so I kind of feel they will avoid that trap. Personally never really played POE1 so I don't really have an opinion on that. Or I can say it doesn't affect me at all as I would never play POE1 so I have zero interest in buying packs there unless they contained something that would also be in POE2. I just think it opens a can of worms they will avoid. Oh and random... I wish one of the new POE2 packs had been Druid heavy. I feel that both of them are totally disconnect from the league. Other than I thought the lost treasure skin might be cool. So I skipped both. Последняя редакция: Antarious#5648. Время: 7 дек. 2025 г., 08:27:55
