Armour fix by increasing 15%?!
F, thats too low. Even x2 more effect of armour formula is low.. Better if this formula was deleted and armour give reduce of damage how it's told in character screen tab.

GGG said that armour would get more work done on it later. I'm skeptical they even fully understand why it doesn't function as a defence stat though. " I'm currently in T15 maps and Vaaling them in SSF with literally Mace Strike build just slappen AOE screen clear, I have almost no armour% passive tree nodes and im a pure Life with 3100 life + Armour build no ES/EV. I have 21000armour [I hit the 90% armour cap when fighting] The only time I die is from multiple overlapping big hits, I cannot remember the last time if any I have died from a single hit. I rarely die ever unless I'm complacent. The 15% armour buff will be huge, but its doesn't really change the reason for my deaths since I need more total HP to live hits. Even then, armour is very strong considering I can literally face tank SO MUCH bullshit and not need to do much. [That said, a Shield is 100% required, I cannot imagine being armour focused without a shield, thats probably where armour insanely fails unless you can get a large amount of effective health like ES] |

Armour is already good right now and you are straight up bad at the game if you can't make it work. Literally the only issue with armour is that you have to run armour break to stack Scavenged plating. If you are an armour build you will in 99% of cases never ever die from a physical hit. The problem is that it's too hard to get EHP for elemental and chaos damage, which is too high across the board.

Genuinely they just need to add Life nodes or more ways to scale your life, getting ES is too hard without uniques or travelling very far for Warrior class since they are all on the other side of the tree. Titan is kinda required for Armour to work, Warbringer theoritically would work because he can reduce his damage taken by trasnsferring some of it to his Totems, but Warbringers ascendancies are genuinely so absolutely dogshit awful theres no reason to go Warbringer. [His totem minion thing is genuinely awful, pls rework] Mercenary also has a similar issue but hes closer to Monks ES so it's a bit easier. |

" I'm not saying ur experience is wrong, but I have basically the same experience on my Earthquake Titan with 0 armour and just Cloak of Flame + 86% fire res. That's why people say Armor is bad, because it really doesn't make a difference vs. other forms of mitigation and it's straight up worse compared to evasion or ES against Bosses. I'd argue that ur shield is what actually keeps u alive most of the time, same as for me. I have 75% block with life regen on block and that helps a ton vs. small hits (basically what armor is supposed to help with). Bigger hits get mitigated by Cloak of Flame the same way they would with armour for the most part. Also Scavanged plating is just a bad buff and hopefully they rework that skill completely. For me as an Earthquake build I can't make use of it at all and I tried. But right now the duration of the Buff is 2.24 seconds with Persistence support for my build. It needs to be not duration based or at least get rid of the duration tag and make it last longer as a base. I agree with u tho, a bigger HP pool is definitely needed for Warrior.
