IF POE 2 FREEZES YOUR PC TRY THIS

Guys, if you are still looking for a fix try this:
- Use PoEUncrasher - [Removed by Support]
- Use process lasso - and set POE2 CPU to HIGH (always), and HDD priority to HIGH (always).
- While using Vulkan if the gears stop turning, alt + tab.
- Directx 12 seems to be working better.

Probably to avoid any liability if someone downloads from the link posted here and the program does some kind of damage to the system or turns out to be a scam.

Sure I get that. It's just a bit frustrating that there is no fix for this problem. Also it's on Github, open source.

Lasso works for me, at least to avoid hard PC resets, though the trick to free up 2 cores when load peaks for a second fails once in a while. I guess it peaks to suddenly at times. I just took out 2 cores permanently. I don’t notice a performance drop and this allows me into taskmanager 100% of the time.

Yes Lasso isn't consistent. PoeUncrasher makes the process realtime for the second the gears stop working, and parks some cores when all are at 100% percent for more than a certain time. It seems to work, but your CPU temps go up from the realtime process. BTW this is on AMD (5800X) not Intel. I have an Intel laptop and this problem does not exist.

Only the link, you are good. I got my post removed only for mentioning this app in the thread about those crashes.

They are not providing any fixes themselves but delete the mentions of the community effort to fix it for them. Way to go I guess.
