Trial of Sekhema make me stop playing

I hate Trial of Sekhema

Not fun

You could be more constructive and list why its not fun and suggest improvements?

Id certainly be interested in your take since I'm about to start ascendancy for the first time..

man, honestly i realy feel you. I love this game very much and i loved poe 1 but the trial of sekhema is a big pain in the ass. It is just too hart, the controles with the mouse are not precise enough to dodge all traps and the debufs can completely ruin your run. Without a good option to avoid the debuf that can completely screw my build there are just runs that are impossible to complete. Speaking of character builds im pretty sure that for some melee or thorns builds this trial is complete unplayable. Normaly i like hard games (i played basicly every souls game) but this trial is extremely frustrating when your tank build yust gets "killed" by a mechanic and not by a hard hitting boss

I would realy like to see some improvements with this part of the game
If you want some sugestions:
Dont spawn mobs with crossbows that you cant dodge
Take out some of the extreme debuffs (evasion=0????)
Make the shrine recover more honor or increase max honor
Make the inventory for honoritems bigger so i can take more with me
Make traps deal less honordmg and more normal dmg

The trial itself is fine (and fun for me). The only frustrating part is that you have only one life and if you die in floor 4 to some stupid overtuned hit (specially if you're melee) you lose 30 min of progress.
You need totally overpowered builds to just blast through and one-shot the boss in the end. That's stupid design.

It's like not playing because tutorial is too hard tbh. Maybe its for the better that way.

Sanctum league sucked more than anything.

I'm playing a ranger SSF.

I did my first ascendency in my first try, easy mode because my level was too much for them. I did Chaos for my second ascendency, easy peasy, just one boss.

I failed Shekemas in my second try, the third boss killed me (the third one!). I was trying to get my third ascendency. No drama, just hurt a little, a little rage because a quarter life more and that scorpion... my third ascendency... well I got some relics, some good ones, in fact.

I have completed my third ascendency in Shekemas. Vendetta!!!

Don't give up, get good relics and try it again.

You always earn something in Shekemas, relics, knowledge, ascendencies, jewels... it is hard as it was the first boss the first time you face it. It will be easier, after some failed tries... It hurts but that is why you will kill them again and again.
