Steaming Springs stuck in boss arena

After killing the boss in Steaming Springs, the red mist wall doesn't disappear.
I have a portal in the boss arena, due to hoping going to my hideout would fix it, so I cannot use the "Exit to character screen fix" either.

This is the first time this has happened out of the ~10 times I have done the map with a boss.
I did notice that the boss behaved weirdly during the fight, by getting "stuck" with going in and out of the sand multiple times without doing anything. Not sure if this is relevant or not.

Steaming Springs has a double boss, after 1.1 there was a glitch where only one of the 2 bosses would spawn, locking you in the arena with no loot.

Sounds like this glitch is back : (

Ignore me - I'm thinking Sulpheric caverns. Steaming Springs doe sNOT have 2 bosses, a momentary brain fart
