Cannot interact with well in Canal Hideout

Hello,
While playing on controller, I cannot interact with the well in the Canal Hideout. I have tried every direction around the well and the interact button does not come up. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated as this is my favorite Hideout. Thank You!
