"Failed to connect to instance" and other Unexpected disconnects

I am trying to log in but as soon as my character finished loading I either get a "Failed to connect to instance" or a disconnect which sends me back to login screen.
Some attempts make it all the way so I'm in my hideout but i cannot move or do anything for a couple seconds, then my character starts moving very laggy and then I'm disconnected again.

I have so far attempted:
*) Reboot computer
*) Checked internet connection (300mbps down / 600mbps up with 15ms latency)
*) Ran the full recheck of POE2 data (PackCheck.exe) = All good
*) Tried logging in on other characters in case my main character was somehow bugged = same issue.

I was playing just 2 days ago without any issues what so ever and haven't done anything with my computer since then.

The server I'm connecting to (Frankfurt) has a 20-30ms latency and seems up and running just fine.

Any ideas how to solve this?

EDIT: I just switched gateway to Amsterdam and got in straight away, so perhaps the Frankfurt server is actually having issues!
