Shield Charge attacks in the opposite direction with controller

Hi,

Shield Charge attacks in the opposite direction I'm aiming at when around certain monsters (like bramble burrower and many rares) when playing with controller, it doesn't do so around all monsters.
When I activate the skill, my character just does 180 and goes the wrong way.
