Giant skeleton boss, possible latency bug.

I've been having terrible internet issues lately, that might be involved in what happened here. This was in the giant skeleton boss fight in the Abyss. I disconnected near the start of the fight, then came back and used the checkpoint to jump back. Immediately after entering the arena I ran around behind the boss, waiting to see what their next attack would be, then the attack was the fire breath. I started taking damage from the firebreath as though I was standing right in front of the boss even though I was clearly right behind them.
