Jiquani's Machinarium

While attempting to open a door in Jiquani's machinarium, I am unable to interact with the stone altar with the small soul core to access the door.

I have the same Issue with my 4th Carachter and cant advance in the game because of it, were you ever able to resolve it ?

Can confirm it - in my case, it's always the door to that treasure room, I'm unable to interact with the stone altar near its door.
My hovercraft is full of eels!
