Strange Connection with Unusable support gems

I was remaking a leveling a new character and was wearing Horns of Brynden. I switched that helmet out for more resist and no stats. I had some support gems that I didn't realize depended on the str requirement like Primal Armament, Upheaval, and Tremors.

When I took off the helmet in town, and suddenly my character was frozen, then quickly moved around as if catching up to commands I inputed while frozen, then freeze again for even longer, then unfreeze and do all actions that I did. I didn't touch anything after it frozen, and I noticed that the character was freezing a little longer again in town. I thought, this is weirdest lag.

I logged out, then logged in and saw that I couldn't use any skills. Opened up skills and saw the skills greyed out an unable to use. I was moving normally and no lag issues like before.

You should have support gems eject when they don't meet requirement, like you have skeletal warrior support gems do when you unequip the sceptre.

Maybe you could have red circled icons (mouseover gives name) on top of screen like the buffs/debuffs that would notify the player if a gem doesn't meet requirement and needs to be taken out/useless. Maybe have that as an option to have.
