Monk Chaos Ascendancy - Mana Leech does not work at all

Simply put, the mana leech for monks chaos ascendancy doesnt work at all. I spent many hours fiddling with the passive skill tree trying to recreate my build since i was doing high damage but would also die instantly, constantly. This was around waystones lvl 9 where I kept dying so fast and had to make changes. So I got myself a bunch of energy shield to help, but come to find out, it doesnt work. I think I'll take a break after that. I've spent many hours these past few days trying to fix up my build but nothing is working and everything seems to be too weak for me to give up the high damage output I had before. Darkness makes monk useless since it takes away all my herald skills (which also have buffs on my skill tree and with jewels). So im in an extremely tough spot where mana leech doesnt work, darkness simply wont work because it will make me weaker, and the flame of chayula doesnt even help all that much. Sure the extra chaos damage is nice, but the health pickups dont even work when im getting 1 or 2 shot anyways, and the mana pickups only help sometimes (even then my build is strong enough that I dont even need to use mana flasks that much, nor need the mana pickups from flames of chayula). Please fix monk after other big updates are made with the core game. This game is already good and has tremendous potential for years to come. I would love to stay on the train right now but there are too many flaws for me to wanna continue at this point in the game. Thanks a bunch

i use this as the main staple of my chayula mkonk and it works fine, 100%

he's 10k es based and i get fully healed by frenzy charge boosted spiral arrows.
