Can't open maps since upgrading battlepass

I upgraded my battlepass earlier today and now all my MTX has disappeared and I'm getting errors while trying to open maps. The message says "Activation cancelled" and then a short while later "Operation timed out." I have also had random issues opening portals from inside zones / maps, and when they do open it is the default portal (should be a random MTX) Portal scrolls are consumed but it takes 2+ scrolls to get a portal. Maybe the problem is the new portal effect that came with the battlepass?

The game is pretty much unplayable.
