EXIT to Character Selection Screen = CRASH! CTD!

Not sure if this is a new thing that occured in last couple updates.
Can't figure out what is causing this. After about 15 mins~ of playing with any character, and you wish to switch chars, this happens. No error. Doesn't happen when you select a character, then repeat the same steps a minute later though. Anyone getting this too? While the snow remains, veiled in the haze of evening, a cold leafless branch.
