Monk keeps getting one tapped (link to video). Is this a bug?

I quit POE2 last month because Geonor kept 1 tapping me when I'd go days without dying only to work my way back to him-- all for him to 1 tap me again. It's was beyond frustrated.
I just returned to the game and here I am dying for an unknown reason to another '1 tap' (obviously from the electricity). I realise I'm out of Mana here but I have another screenshot with Geonor with tons of mana and energy shield but 0/1 in life (I obviously have CI).
