Demon hound not working in demon form

Hi,

Demon hound seems to die immediately when I transform into demon form for some reason yet I’ve seen other infernalists with their hound out while in form? I have the spirit for it and tried toggling it on/off wouldn’t work.
I’m on PS5 if that matters

Could you try moving any support gems on Demon Form that add a Spirit reservation, like Vitality, to other buff skills you might have active?

I don't recall if Demon Form had this issue or not, but I think there was some trouble with people not being able to reserve all of their Spirit with some skills from Ascendancies, when supports add Spirit reservation to them.

I don’t have anything on either demon form or demon hound that add spirit requirements. I also tried turning off other spirit reservation skills to make sure and my spirit isn’t changing when I turn into a demon :-/

Since my other suggestion didn't work, I tried a google search to see if there was an answer somewhere else.
The answers for getting it to work all seem to mention needing mouse+keyboard, or it working on PC but not on PS5.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer. There was at least one person saying it worked for them on PS5, but only after they'd gotten on PC.

It seems like the mouse can activate a constant skill (like buffs and minions) by right-clicking it, enabling it for all weapon sets--including Demon Form, which says that those kinds of skills "aren't valid for this weapon set". There was also someone saying that the skills assigned to weapon set 2 were active in Demon Form, except that the Infernal Hound still wouldn't work that way (or maybe it just doesn't on console).

But, I don't have an Infernalist myself, so I don't know how reliable this info is.

Thanks for that, just realized a lot of people have been reported this issue since launch. I’ll try logging in my PC hopefully it works! Wish they would fix it though, seems like it’s been a lingering issue…
