Seeking Help with Persistent "Failed to Connect to Instance" Error in PoE 2
Hello PoE Community and GGG Team,
I'm writing to report a critical issue affecting my gameplay experience in Path of Exile 2. After purchasing the game and creating a character, they are consistently unable to enter the game world. Upon clicking "Enter Game" from the character selection screen, the game crashes back to the login interface with the error message: “Failed to connect to instance.” Steps to Reproduce: Launch Path of Exile 2 and log into the account. Select an existing character. Click "Enter Game." Game crashes to login screen with the above error. Troubleshooting Attempts (No Success): Restarted the game and PC multiple times. Tested both wired and wireless internet connections. Disabled firewalls/antivirus temporarily. Reinstalled the game completely. Restored the pc to factory settings and reinstalled all the NVIDIA display driver System Specs (If Relevant): OS: Windows 11 GPU: GeForce RTX 3070 (Drivers up-to-date) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H Internet: Default_F5DD6B (Stable connection, tested via other online games). This issue has rendered the game unplayable despite the purchase, and these two days I am quite frustrated. Is this a known server-side problem? Are there any workarounds while a fix is being developed? Any guidance from the team or community would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support!
