Constant Crashing Potential Fix - Reduce RAM clock speed.
Gonna keep it short and sweet. Instead of just being angry I decided to do some testing to try and figure this out.
OS Tested: Win 10, 11 Ubuntu 24.04 (Steam, Lutris / Wine) Constant crashes across each OS. No amount of settings or configuration changes ever made a meaningful or noticeable difference. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is what finally worked for me. Win 11 24h2 My CPU: Intel i7-11700k Under-volt with Intel XTU. Performance core: x46 -> x44 Core Voltage Offset: -0.050 Reduce RAM clock speed from stock 3600 to 3200. (BIOS) POE Uncrasher ran as administrator. In game settings: Vulcan Vysnc: Adaptive ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I went from an unplayable mess that crashed every 5-15 min and had micro stutters from hell to nothing. Not so much as a single frame drop. Been playing for hours without issue. Reducing the CPU load and adjusting my RAM made the difference. Not smart enough to understand why but here it is, the best shot at fixing these crashes I have. Последняя редакция: Braric#4417. Время: 9 марта 2025 г., 21:04:13 Last bumped9 марта 2025 г., 18:41:13

IT WORKS!
Got crashes too and much more after the 06/03/2024 update, like every 5~10 minutes. Sometimes even BSOD related to memory. Game crash dumps mentioning memory access violation and changing in game settings did nothing. Tried your tip and changed the RAM clock from 3600 to 3200 in the BIOS settings, nothing else. Work smooth, no more crashes. THANK YOU A LOT! It looks like there is something related to memory clock and it's very difficult to find answers since everybody post/repost the same pseudo fixes without guaranties that it'll work. Again thank you for investigating and sharing your findings! Последняя редакция: Alzerad#5507. Время: 9 марта 2025 г., 18:42:32
