Feels like I'm always missing like 2-3 links of dmg
Huntress, spears.
Like, I'll have a newly upgraded weapon, got lucky with attack speed rolls on gloves, trying various links and combos, nothing really feels like it's dealing good enough dmg. I'll have 1-2 areas where I feel like im doing middling-okay dmg, when the weapon upgrade is completely fresh, but then 4-5 areas afterwards where it slogs down. It's like weapons are an entire step behind the curve of monsters tankiness. Frenzy payoffs feel weak compared to the effort. Parry + disengage feels very clunky, compared to maybe lingering illusion. I mostly end up spamming whirling and disengage for the 3 stack payoff. Seems to be the most reliable clearing and dmg. Sometimes lighting spears to clear some whites, with like 3-10 spears. Using twister in the whirlwind seems to do nothing better than just disengaging. If anything it seems to just make the payoff less reliable, by missing enemies sometimes. May be a late-game thing with many projs, but early it's poop despite being an early encouraged combo. Tried to do King of The Mist immediately, and despite having an at-level weapon, with fair dmg rolls, I ran out of mana pot at like 50% hp into first phase, then spent mostly running around waiting for mana to recover. No clue how long that was, but I eventually ran out of life pot too at 70% hp of 2nd phase. Probably like 8 minutes or so, of just using whirling and walking away cus everything else cost too much mana to upkeep. A slog. Encountered this one rare monster with mana siphon outside the act1 mansion, it was too fast for my character to escape from, so I had to stand in the center, but that meant getting swarmed by 10 white mobs that each could tank my attacks for like 10-20 seconds. Oh, and disengage would place me directly into the siphon ring, and removed my ability to payoff my whirlwind. I.e. I just kinda died, no counterplay. Felt cheap. Inside the mansion, I find the mobs are just scaled too much for any of my gear or skill levels or tree choices. I could try to level up to 16 and gamble for a spear upgrade, but honestly, I don't know if I wanna continue. White mobs are like between 5-20 seconds killtime. Rares can be upwards of a full minute. Bosses between like 1-10 minutes. I might just quit until some balance patch, or maybe try see if bell is still usable to carry through this. My personal assessment: - Weapons too weak / Monsters too tanky. - Some monsters too fast, only countered by high dmg or strong cc (which I currently cannot have). - Combos between skills are generally not giving enough payoff compared to the effort going in. Many feel good to use, but only tickles. Or eventually become too slow to pull off. Последняя редакция: KindredKin#0146. Время: 5 апр. 2025 г., 01:26:50 Last bumped5 апр. 2025 г., 02:40:11

I couldn't have said it better. I started noticing at the end of act 1 with the count. Playing huntress as well, started out great, kept my gear up as much as I could but the loot and orb drops seem even worse than at release. The damage falloff got progressively worse.
Not to mention the terrible performance of the game and crashes. I don't understand whats going on at GGG. The quality drop off has been sudden and sharp. |
