How am I supposed to generate glory
from what i can tell the only way to generate glory charges for the spear is marking 1 mob and bleed it to the point of heavy stun.
with a normal mob you would have to do this gameplay loop 20 times to generate 1 charge of spear of solaris which has a small aoe and mobs just move out of it. does anyone has suggestion with the spear or are we supposed to also have space for hammer skills.... Last bumped5 мая 2025 г., 09:56:00

I want to make a spear of solaris build, but idk how the glory building is feeling and if its possible to realiable build up glory using spells and some stun nodes

Bleed builds can generate heavy stun build up effectively via Bloodhound's Mark.
All builds can fill the stun bar with support gems, item traits and passive tree nodes that support stun build up. Note that the design of glory is to limit how often you can use that skill. I would think they are not intended as a main damage skill that you use regularly, but as something that charges up slowly during combat and then can be used as stronger than average skill. Glory sucks and they need to go back to kill-based like Vaal skills or have both get glory from stuns and kills.
most of the time SoS starts doing damage when the stun is over. you also cannot build stun while they're electrocuted/frozen, which kills other combos that can't stun as reliably. Glory sux. |

im playing spear of solaris and im using a big phys spear since SoS converts 100% to fire for the burning ground.
I use bloodhounds mark on bosses with rake since im taking generic ailment magnitude on the tree, and massive AOE whirling slash for maps. im also playing titan so crushing blows is amazing. drop a big ignite and carry it around the whole map with burning slash :) melee damage builds 50% more stun and 50% more on top if its physical damage so thats like 125% more stun buildup. |

" Definitely not. I'm happy while I can use it on bosses after heavy stun. If they change it for kill-based stacks, it would be impossible on most pinnacle bosses. I would be fine if they used both mechanics though, i.e. heavy stun on bosses AND kills. |
