Thunderous Leap sometimes desyncs and has no animation.
So sometimes when there are lots of things happening on screen, if I use Thunderous Leap, I will not see the leaping animation, and instead will teleport to the location of landing at the end of what would be the animation. The ability is still working, as it pops my ground spears and everything, but the entire animation just doesn't play.
This is very jarring as I essentially go invisible for the duration of the animation, and have no idea where I am in respect to the live gameplay. This OFTEN gets me killed. Especially when it happens a few times in a row. This sucks as Thunderous Leap has become a key part of my rotation/build, and I really enjoy it when it functions correctly. I believe it is a desync issue, as I've now tested something. If I notice the animation isn't going to play, and I don't do anything, I actually don't go anywhere, until I input some form of movement. I'll try to get some footage later. Same thing here, always happens when using Thunderous Leap (keyboard) just after Storm Lance (right click)

This also has been happening with Rake. Using Rake + Disengage also produces a lot of "rubber banding". In general the servers feel really laggy to me as well.

Seeing this post has a date of April, and here I am still experiencing what you're saying IN JULY.
I love the spell so much but I'm pretty much forced not to use it because of how often it gets me killed. |
