Chober Chaber Leaden Greathammer and Manifest Weapon Interaction

I am quite new to PoE2, never played PoE1. I made a Smith of Kitava build a couple of days ago, thinking that Chober Chaber Leaden Greathammer would work with Manifest Weapon.

The last line of Chober Chaber Leaden Greathammer says that "Increases and Reductions to Minion Damage also affect you" and Manifest Weapon, which is a minion, has 1% increased damage per 3 strength. From what it says, I am supposed to have increased damage as Manifest Weapon does.

Can anyone tell me if it is a bug or intended interaction?

"Minions from this skill have 1% increased Damage
per 3 of your Strength"
would be different than your minions deal 10% increased damage. Similar to quality on a gem if that makes sense
putting 20% quality on a raise zombie for 20% increased damage wouldn't give you the 20% increase only that skill if that makes sense
