Impossible to buy anything with live search.

People with private indexers snipe any item before it shows up on official trade. The trade site has a minute delay while the API don't and that is why the private indexers get the items before you can even msg the person.

Why not put the delay on the API itself not the trade site so the items would show up at the same time for everyone.

If you don't adress it you could as well remove live search because it is useless in its current form.

the API cannot BUY the things, just check. And even if people use bots to buy, there is still the bottleneck of the sellers takign time to respond.. unless they are bots thesmelves.

Nobody is takling about bots. The api lists the item the trade site then have 1 minute delay because of it gets nuked by queries but the private indexers don't have the delay so they instantly notify when the item is available.

By the time the item is updated to trade site and we get the notification on the trade site the seller already made the trade and the item is sold.

The only way is to buy the item overpriced but then it defeates the purpose to try to get notified quick once an item is available for sale.
