What a difference, it seems like if you can find the ritual now, the boss arena is going to be in one of the four corners of the now square shaped map. Probably on the right hand side, either bottom or top (notice the missing area of the bottom right).

This map layout is a prime example and very representative of PoE 2's bad map layouts. Basically using the annyoing PoE 1 indoor maps as a blueprint and making it standard feature.

Lots of narrow passages that funnel mobs right into the player like a cheap way to make it difficult.

Was especially hilarious in unnerfed Dreadnought and mobs jumping at you from all directions offscreen.

Have you run these maps since the patch? This definitely felt easier, but I think they would also be needed to be tried as melee as I was ranged here and we'd need to disregard outliers such as the boneshatter war.

I understand what you're getting at and I've not/can't test otherwise, I don't have a character to test your point. That said as a range it did feel notably easier to clear (most maps I've played through since the patch have).
