Lightning Spear question

So, I was trying to figure out why I wasn't getting shock procs off of it. It was a really sad attempt from moving away from relying on Disengage/Cull The Weak to get Frenzy Charges to Combat Frenzy and did some testing...

- Was stupid, Shock and Electrocute are not the same
- Lacerate somehow overrides the application of Shock without mentioning anything in the tooltip (unless just very stupid)
- Lacerate and Electrocute work together why not Shock?
- I must be really stupid

You aren't stupid, we all make innocent mistakes from time to time. I actually use lightning spear as my main ability, use that for shock procs and clearing, also to use the shock on them with primal strikes. Also I picked up the 25% chance to reapply shock after using it for primal. Sorry if none of this means anything and I'm rambling ><

Edit: the electrocute gloves I'd recommend as well, not really sure the name of them, as I am not at home.

Combat Frenzy not proccing from Shock is somewhat annoying but I can tell it was done on purpose for balance reasons.
