I remember the first guild I played in during poe1, the guild leader was a streamer. Not a good one, or even a really known one (dismantletime), and he more or less had a policy that every drop that guild members got went to him. I remember linking a ring in chat that I got, cos I was new and didn't know if it was good (I think it was a call of the brotherhood or something like that), and he instantly goes "oh i need that", and comes to my hideout. I thought he was going to give me a chaos for it or something but he just slams the accept button and says "give me it".
Sadly, I imagine this sort of thing happens quite a bit in some guilds, as well as a little bit of something else.. |
